Q: How do I post images?

A: A few ways:

The NEW version of the board allows posting of pictures as attachments so you NO LONGER NEED EXTERNAL HOSTING, To see this option click the 'Use Full Editor' button to attach the photo.

There is a limit of 254k per picture however so you should upload compressed version of print quality photos. Size is limited to 1600 wide by 1200 tall and photos are automatically scaled to fit in the message.

Other options

If the image is hosted somewhere in Cyberspace Hit the "IMG" button above the text box, paste in the FULL PATH to the image, and hit the "IMG" button again (or "Close Tags"). You will see something that looks like this: . In this example, your image will appear within your typed message.

This alternate example is friendlier to those without a high speed Internet connection, and is a variation of the example above. In this example, you paste the full path to the image into the body of your post without hitting the IMG button. This will provide the viewers with a link to the image. The images can be as large as you like, you can list as many as you want, and dial up users won't crash when they open the thread. This also gives those interested the option to click on the link to view the image, or continue to browse the thread without waiting for the images to load.
