I have one of these. VERY nice guitar, for a simple kind of example from a fancy company. I don't know what they go for these days, but since they went the SE route for the Mira I haven't noticed a lot of the USA ones.

Seems more toasted than truly burnt. A worthy project. When it's working you can set it on 6 and have that "Super 6" sound without having to buy a Lovepedal.

I see that the activity in this thread has waned, but I just came across it. I have the Beyerdynamics, and while I am no breathing laboratory for comparing quality, I do recall from my investigation at the time of shopping for them that the multiple impedance options was to suit the source: lower impedance pulls more current, so they offered a higher impedance option as a compromise for those who used them with small devices operating from battery power. It won't drain the battery as quickly.

Dang, where was the 2023 thread? I'd have been at least a co-champion. I'm in for 2024, too - most of things that stole my attention last year are still vying for it, and I am looking hard at dipping my toe into hobbyist watch repair. For the moments when the musical muse's number comes up, I have more than I need. I should sell some, but I'm the guitar equivalent of those single person memes I see about being ready to meet their soulmate but the doorbell never rings.
