my only experience with solid body flame maple is the guitar was very bright, and I couldn't get it under control with several pickup changes to typically "dark" sounding pickups. This was a guitar that had a mostly solid maple body.

i gig a rivera era concert 112 and it does like to be turned up past 5 to get the tones. I mostly only use the clean channel w/pedals but it sounds good, but not blackface by any means. sounds amazing w/a maxon od808 in front of it.

will second that black pearl 30. I really like mine sounds great at low volume and really cranks at higher wattage settings.

I love my $500 cali elite! Can't put it down. I sold my prs ce22 after acquiring the cali.

i like valvoline or kendall for conventional oil. for synthetics I like mobil 1 in cars and use amsoil motorcycle oil in my bike. I am not too fond of amsoil car oil it seems to give a lot of engine noise.

about 6 years ago I saw rush do 2112 complete, no breaks straight through. It was amazing, one of the best shows I have ever been to.
