  1. I have owned a Superpro and MIII, both really nice guitars but ultimately not for me. When the Elite came out I was very excited to play/own one. What could be better than a Hamer LP. It wasn’t the shelf but no real improvement on playability over the LP. Immediately lost interest. OTOH A PRS McCarty 594 did resonate strongly with me. Under 8.5 “ un chambered blah blah

  9. Senior Year 1968, I know, old as ****. The Who played a concert in our high school gym. They were killing time before playing the Grande Ballroom. Tickets were a few bucks. Got the whole show including the destruction during My Generation!!! Debra and Joan went on to become the band's groupies and the un-named male is still a roadie for the group!! arniez

  15. The pics Diablo provided would make gout very unlikely. Gout can involve any joint but most common in the big toe joint. Noted by acute onset, significant increase in temperature, redness and swelling. Can usually make the diagnosis upon entering room. After acute flairs, things generally return to normal. arniez
  16. Might be interested in the 6v6’s arniez
  17. Based on your hand pose I surmise that the knuckles you are referring to are where the fingers join the hand. That is a worse condition than if in the knuckles of the fingers. Get an x-ray to R/O bone involvement, if only soft tissue inflammation rest and maybe short term anti inflammatories would help. See a hand specialist, don’t bother with anyone else! arniez
  18. Gotta pic of said knuckle? arniez
  19. Aw man that has to really hurt!! At east it’s repairable. Get a room humidifier arniez
  20. Wow tough row to hoe! Strokes can obviously be very damaging and discouraging. Don't let other's failures deter you. Only you can determine how much effort you are willing to put into your recovery. Give it your best and hope for the best. I wish you well and success on your joourney! arniez
  21. great playing but goatta say i liked what Buddy played more! arniez
  22. The HFCer was Admiral Ballsy. He did successfully return the guitar and case only to receive another case with guitar. It was an Artist Korina if I remember correctly. arniez
