I recently got a '79 Sunburst and the lacquer seems "sticky," especially on the neck. Is there something that treats that symptom or does it require a specialist? I' ve taken the guitar in for a setup, and my luthier has not seen this before. Please discuss...

My Malekko Tremolo has an internal volume pot, which I found very useful. When I use trem, I want to hear it.

Has anyone used the Anderson Group (Hanover Insurance Group) to insure musical equipment outside their home? Other suggestions? Thanks!

Dimarzio EJ Custom for the bridge. I have one in my Phantom Custom. It's just right clean to grit. MF carries the covers. My 2nd choice would be the WCR Godwood.

If I would have joined this 2013 club, I would have missed out on my first Hamer - a '98 Custom Phantom. Congrats on making it a year!
