Treat yourself to a set of our own Jeffro's outstanding pickups without the hassle of installing them! They reside in a Schecter Van Nuys PT I purchased new from Sweetwater in 2022. A poor man's Suhr Modern T in every way, right down to the headstock shape and boutique pickups. 100% stock aside from the pickups and Dunlop strap lock buttons. I will reinstall the backplate before shipping. Weight: 8.8 lbs. on my digital scale. Neck: 1.672" W 0.863" D (1st fret); 2.044" W 0.926" D (12th fret) No case or gig bag. Pro tip: if you want one of these guitars for dirt cheap, they are pretty inexpensive used on Reverb. Hell, they're pretty inexpensive new from Sweetwater, GC and other retailers. But none will have the Jeffbuckers (trust me, they are a massive upgrade over the stock pickups) and probably won't have this good of wood figuring and/or dark roasted maple. CONUS shipping only. Zelle and Venmo accepted, as is PayPal (F&F is appreciated if you're comfortable with that; regular PP is fine otherwise). My love/hate relationship with Bogner

I had an EL34 Shiva for a while (in fact, I'm pretty sure I bought it from you, Ernie). On paper it was the perfect amp for me. In practice I just couldn't get all the way to a sound I liked. Odd how that happens. Even with the top-shelf stuff, you just never know until you plug in and let rip. -

Even if they see those things, the BAMFs of the world don't value them. These are the types of people who would rather own a half dozen (or more) import Epiphones instead of one truly exceptional hand-crafted guitar. -
Damn straight it is.

The Best of the HFC – Vol 4 is LIVE!

I don't recall what the recording gear was for my contribution, but the guitar > amp > cab was a Hamer Mirage II > Soldano Avenger > Friedman 1×12 with a Creamback. Kiss recorded a song called "Do You Wanna Touch Me Now?" for the Revenge album but never released it, and no one has ever heard it. This version was an attempt by my podcast partners and I to speculate what that song might have sounded like, and what lyrical content it might have had. The most notable thing about this song for me was my first attempt in 40 years of playing guitar at double tracking a solo. Came out pretty good. Great way to conceal clams! More than you ever wanted to know about the song here: -

Depending on where the guitar hangs on a strap you might need a Schwantz Carve as well: -

The DC shape is perfection. I placed my order for one within minutes of seeing it for the first time. -

I'd prefer to let those details unfold on their own but the finish will be inspired by a somewhat iconic New Hartford Hamer, and I'm making three tweaks to the accoutrements for personal preference and to set it apart a bit. Other than those things, the Cobra design is right on the money for me. -

I'd agree with you if: 1. I was in fact lucky (my last trip to the casino proved once again that I'm not) 2. I wasn't working with a guy like Mike who showed me a wood sample of the exact flame I was looking for after I described what I wanted. So, luck didn't really factor into it. -
