I agree... and I would also say artists would rather have the cash so their estate/familes won't have to chase publishing companies, record labels etc..

Selling a partially loaded Bloomdoom (Dustin Bloomer, ex MJT head painter) 2 pc, nicely matched, center seam, (approx 3 lbs 5 oz, unloaded) Comes with an aged mint guard, aged control plate and allparts heavy dome knobs (1/4" but the set screw should allow you to fit both knurled and solid shaft pots) electrosocket jack, Fender strap buttons, aged gotoh neck plate, aged bridge with compensated saddles... mounting screws not pictured but included. Body was only briefly fitted to a neck, excellent condition with no wear other than the Bloomdoom aging. std tele neck route under guard. The neck is now sold, the body and neck as pictured weight approx 5 lbs 13, so with pickups it should get you somewhere in the low 6's $379 firm paypal friends and family delivered in the US.

Recent Sonic Guitars (handmade by Paolo in Italy) 1 piece nicely grained Korina body, brazilian board , '59 style (R9-ish) style neck profile, medium frets. Guitar is in excellent condition with clean frets. I added a new harness (CTS, Orange drop, switchcraft) some Brandonwound '59 pickups (vintage hot). Finish checking and wear throughout. The Fredo waterslide is above finish and can be easily removed but given it was built in Italy, it’s quite fitting It plays and sounds really nice and resonates beautifully. The body has very vivid grain that is flamey at certain angles. It's approx 9 lbs 4 oz. Comes with a brand new Gibson case. FYI... original pickups are not available, I have a nice set of Ox4 Hot Duanes in double black (also Vintage Hot wind). If the buyer prefers, I can swap them out and keep the Brandon wounds. I dig em both so either way is fine with me. NOTE: temporarily on hold: pending a local meetup... I'll update once I know more. SOLD rear cover is not pictured but included

You may be right, I seem to recall they've capped it before at $500. The cashback can be tricky, GC Bucks are not refundable if you end up returning the item so you have to choose carefully. Good deal… but you might want to act quick. There are a lot of gear hounds and flippers that jump on the good stuff. also. My local store told me if it’s within the return policy, they can apply the discount to a prior purchase. You might have to ask for a manager to help you. They did it for me. Now the stuff arriving broken is out of my control.

Ughh. I have found some of the worst packing jobs are from people who dismissively assure you that they are “very experienced in packing”…

1) Musikraft Fat C neck, 25.5 9.5" radius, 6105 medium frets, approx .99 at first and 1.0 at the 12th. 1 5/8" nut width. shot with nitro on headstock and heel, and wetsanded. Rear has been lightly distressed and hit with a light coat of true oil with smooth transitions to the nitro. Loaded with aged gotoh SD-91 tuners, Fender string tree. nice consistent dark board, nitro has been lightly relic'd. Bone nut loosely fitted. This is a really nice neck with no fretwear, currently doesn't have a home. weight as pictured with tuners 1 lb, 11 oz. Fredo waterslide is above finish and I can easily be removed if need be. $300 firm paypal friends and family delivered within the US, SOLD As above (same model neck and specs) but slightly more aged minor flaw, the string tree is a millimeter or so off from the center between the B and E. I don't really think it's noticable but mentioning it. very nicely grained dark board, no fretwear. never fully completed into a build. I can include a loosely fitted bone nut but need a day or so to prep it. This one has some subtle nitro checking in spots. waterslide logo above finish and can easily be removed. I want you sounds a little wierd… really rockin rhythms but the vocals have an am radio vibe. Interesting choice Btw. The Letters To Cleo cover of I want you is pretty solid. I could have a local bias.

I saw him at the Cape Cod Coliseum, general admission front row... the Corridor of Power album had just come out. He was fantastic. remember Neil Murray (original Whitesnake lineup, I think) and Neil Carter (he replaced Paul Raymond in UFO in the 80's and again after he passed). I loved that tune End of the World... Opening up for Def Lep on the Pyromania tour... chicks all over the place.

I just bought a used Murphy Lab Junior from Lidgett, they get some cool stuff and were great to deal with. That's a nice looking special... not sure what's up with the shelf but otherwise looks pretty clean.

I just bought an R9 at my local GC, it was a 2023 and dead mint with all the stuff... not the flamiest top but a great color... dirty lemon. After the guitarathon promotion, (10% GC bucks cashback and zero interest) it was cheaper than any of the 23 R9's on any of the forums or reverb. you can find deals at times. My buddy loves sweetwater but I like to search for used gems. I was at Sam Ash Sarasota a couple weeks ago... I always liked going there but in the last year they definitely changed their product mix... saw alot of unknown brands which was the exact same thing I saw at Daddy's before they shut down. wondering if G and F was limiting their credit and they were forced to buy other brands.
