  1. 2011 goes down as one of the best years of my life easily with too many reasons to list. HFC-wise, got to meet Bruce and catch a Redd set at Continental here in Austin, hooked up with Belgian in his homeland and had many long-distance laughs with the usual suspects from here. Happy New Year y'all!!!
  2. I don't remember her but the last time I saw Dan was at the Cactus Cafe (live music club on the UT campus). Really nice fella. Great drummah..
  3. Cool review! I just watched his Direct TV concert the other day. Really great playing. He had Dan Wojciechowski (N.TX dude and one of Timmon's drummers) playing with him. http://www.frampton.com/danski/
  4. I'm a fun-lovin' dude--not a tough guy but a loooong time ago I was trying to start a comedy/rawkpunk band and call it Bruiser Brody. Wow, that was when I joined this board. Time flies!
  5. We had a blast!! I don't need to tell anyone here that Bruce is a great spirit and helluva guy! The place was jumpin' and Redd did what he does! Great to meet you Bruce, Barb and Steve! Sorry about the dinner burp but we'll do it next time!
  6. Hangin' with Bruce now at the Redd show! Awesome individual!! edited for razzing Scrud! I talked with him earlier yesterday and he had domestic duties which trumped asshattery with Bruce and bunch!
  7. Ha! Great pics! Hit Scott or I up when yer in Austin Bruce. Redd is playing the Continental Club at 3:00 on Sat afternoon - always free, always fun.
  8. Congrats Jaye! NICE freakin' Axis!
  9. Nickelback sounds too generic for most hard rawk fans to like...too produced, no edge or swagger and non-authentic. Sabbath, VH, Pantera..bands like this come from the rock'n roll dream. Nickelback comes from the rock'n roll career. It's wuss rock based on a formula for mass consumption directed by record company executives. The ol' "hey kids, it's on the radio all the time..we paid clear channel out the yin-yang so it's cool..no really! It's what you *should* be listening to! Go buy it and impress your pimply friends!" It's not just Nickelback..it's every one of those bands that parents would give money to their kids to buy. It's safe. Safe and lame.
  10. Put it on a mp3 and slap it on yer myspace Jegg. Me wanna hear! I hope it's Dio..
  11. Samuel Bronfman. Thanks Sam!!
  12. CHEERS YA BASTIDS!!!!!
