Does anyone remember how long Cheap Trick played and does Dean Mitchell still work for Rick? My friend that's going with me doesn't really know C.T. that well. I figure I can make a sampler c.d.

I've got to dig up some pics of me with the GRH Hamer. I swiped the strings off it during a pre-show set-up. Good 'ol Dean Mitchell. I did get Journey/Heart/CHEAP TRICK tics today for Sept. 10th. Shed show. Saw the Doobs about 8 hours ago... Great show!

EB Music Man Sterling (bass). I've always liked the shape of the Stingray, but was always put off about the Sterlings neck cuts. Untill I played one on stage. A little lighter than the 2-tek Hamer, but the smaller body fits me better. It's not a bad looking bass by any means, just different from the 'Ray. I guess I don't see the bass when I'm wearing it, LOL.

I could make a list of 25 and forget some great ones. It's really subjective. There are too many that are great at what they do. Sometimes less is more. A few of my peronal favs: Tiran Porter, Sir Paul, James Jamerson, Bob Babbit, Larry Graham, Victor Wooten, Geddy Lee, Rocco Prestia... I don't consider any of them the best but they're damn good. Will Lee's a baddass, too.

I predict you'll get some resistance to that opinion. I'm not even going to go there at this time. Maybe a little. A little song like *Silly love Songs* smoke most people. Sir P. has more melody in his friggin pinky than most. Oh, well.
