  1. LOL!!! Or the guys that have full stacks in the same bedroom. LOL!!
  2. Agreed, that was poor form. You can't just show up after being absent for month and say "Sorry, its all good now" and expect people to just fall back in line. We deserve a better explanation than that. I love these strings but that just isn't cool. I hear that WB pickups is another company that subscribes to this type of customer service. Damn shame...another good product ruined by absolutely horrid people skills.
  3. Good to hear but he has to make good on either refunds or delivering strings before I send him my money.
  4. I hereby offer you the job of being *my* guitar tech. I don't have jack shit to pay you but you won't have to lift anything heavy. I have my wife for that.
  5. I thought you were referring to a tech 21 amp with reverb smart ass. I'll take a look at Bens post.
  6. great amp, but John is looking for an Egnater.
  7. Got it Arnie. thanks, I will let you know tomorrow. I have a gig tonight and I will talk to John and see if the EH is what he is looking for. Thanks everyone for their help thus far.
  8. The other guitar player in my band is gassing for an Egnater Rebel 30 and a good reverb pedal so I figured I would post it here and maybe help someone out with a sale. PM me if anyone has something like this they want to sell.
  9. HBD GUYS!!!!
  10. Here is the Soloist Archtop I mentioned earlier. I was an amazing guitar in every respect. Fit and finish were impeccable and it was an amazingly versatile instrument.
  11. When you make references to "Some Heads are Gonna Roll" by Judas priest it sure doesn't sound like you retired. That being said, you are absolutely correct, everything said so far has been pure speculation.
  12. I will try to order a Vector with a Schenker color scheme. I'll let you know.
  13. The Soloist is a horribly underrated guitar. It really isn't a shred only axe, it is amazingly versatile. I have had the pleasure of owning some amazing guitars and an Archtop Soloist and a PC-1 are part of a very select group that I regret selling.
  14. +1 I look forward to the day when I can spend thousands more for what will probably be a '59 Burst Artist. ROTFLMAO!!!
  15. Jeeeezus. Wow...just...wow.
  16. Please...this isn't what we are talking about. Ask Hamer to build you a white korina V. The only custom feature of that guitar would be the white color. Answer? "No". Then you see one for sale on E-bay that was made for a touring musician. The message sent? We will build it, but not for you. To be fair others have been able to get stuff like this through, but why is it pot luck? Either you do it or you don't. They way it is now smacks of elitism.
  17. Disagree. Paid endorsements to people who the majority of the guitar buying public don't give a shit about get expensive. Endorsements to people with juice in the guitar buying market pay for themselves over and over and over again. Steve Stevens, Uncle Dick, and Tom Dumont (sp?) do not in any way shape or form equal Dave Navarro, Johnny Hiland, and David Grissom (note that I didn't even use the big hitters from PRS) to the masses. Hamer fans, yes...but not the rest of the guitar playing world.
  18. LOL!!! That's what I'm talkin bout... Clever comeback.
  19. Ok ...enough. We get the point. Lets get back on topic. Personal attacks have been removed by myself. We can disagree without name calling. The topic was about Hamer being able to keep afloat being only a Custom Order shop. (Poe puts some Vaseline in his leather glove to keep his pimp hand soft.)
  20. Do you know this as a fact or are you speculating? I find it hard to believe that this economy would permit anyone except a select few to have "massive amounts of custom orders".
  21. I couldn't disagree more with this. I am a big Guild fan and have been since I bought my first DV52 dred back in the day. That was an amazing guitar. The Guilds that I played that were Tacoma made were absolute dogs in comparison. Granted, I am using a very small sample of guitars to judge a company, but man they were bad. I have played a few of the new ones and I have to say that I am impressed. If they continue in this direction it could very well bring Guild back into the acoustic market in a big way.
  22. I am completely shocked that the dude had the balls to even answer your e-mail. Inexcusable. I have a source for them (No I am not giving it up) so I don't have to deal directly with Dean. He farked up a brilliant product IMHO.
