    A local guitar store has one of these for sale. A lil beat up, but the top looks great.

    Lots of good independent winders out there. Had good results with Cavalier, Onamac & Tone Hatch. Fender makes some good sets, also. Good luck in your search. 😀

    I don't see the " tone " differences in rectifier tubes when it's not in the signal path. As long as it drops the proper B+ voltage, there should be no tonal advantage/disadvantage whatsoever .

    If it were hand wired, it'd be a much higher price. No Fender amp I've ever seen has been truly P2P. All of the classic F amps were hand wired on a turret board. Nice amp. GLWTS 😀

    I had an RS Stepside Pro for years. $old it like a moron. 😞 RS makes great stuff & they are close.

    Try buying an even inferior quality Gibson at that price. Given the build, fit, finish & flame top, the price is a steal! 😀
