of course ... I always do what I want its just that A. I do feel this is a famous one of a kind guitar and so out of respect to the previous owners and Greg I thought I would get some feedback ... B. I tend to want everthing I own thats "shiny"(cars, bikes, guitars, cameras, stereo equip. etc. etc.) to be black and it does tend to get old after awhile ... so sometimes I need a little help breaking out of the mold

somehow I knew that would get a reaction... I've tried really hard to be a cream guy, the 82 special I was going to buy looked pretty cool with the original double cream and zebra set up... But seriously with the black knobs and black headstock ... I think the black pickups will be killer Plus I play a lot of Sabbath and drop d tuning stuff ... cream? cream? cream reminds me of Pat Boone what would Wino think? it could be worse, I was going to go with nickel covered

Howdy just bought Black magic Jacks 2003 special after the deal I had on the 82 special fell through. The special that was previously galejt's and previously, previously Kizanski's Vintage orange, solid one piece mahogany, fat neck SUSTAIN BLOCK BCR custom order I'm proud to carry on the HFC tradition ... Who knows this geetar might soon be yours! anyways ... what Humbuckers would YOU put in it ? For a hard rock vintage Les Paul vibe Gracias! *WWJD what would Jimi do ? PS my apologies if some of the above listed pickups are not technically PAF's These are all pickups that have been suggested to me as sounding good in that particular guitar and I am trying to make an educated choice with the help of the HFC Thank you ALSO I ran across the "Bare knuckles" website last night ... anyone know anything about these pickups? AND I haven't received the guitar yet... so in for all I know it could sound great with whatever it has in it ... just having a little fun!

Pay attention ya wanker! replaced the SD P 90's with custom built P 90 sized humbuckers by Pete Biltoft This guitar sounds incredible ... Everyone should try a set of pickups from Pete check out his reviews on harmony central etc.

I paid $350 for my Blitz ... and it's worth every penny! ( I didn't know Mick Mars played a Blitz ... Maybe my girlfriend will stop making fun of me now for my Hamer Blitz fetish) (Yeah I know, she'll still make fun of me for the other stuff...)
