Ah, this takes me back to the college days...

Dunno. Never heard anything but the popular stuff from him... and his playing on Chappelle's show. His rendition of the Different Strokes theme song, I liked at least. He could suck. Or it could be one of those things where people judge him only by the popular stuff. Kinda like how fools used to think Queensryche's stuff must have all sounded like "Silent Lucidity" or something.

I wish. But I don't think Warmoth has even gotten to the point of doing "true" 24 fret necks and bodies yet. I can only wish for a Cali kit one day if new ones without cooties are never made again.

So did you initiate this with Kaman or did they offer it up?

Similarly, if you don't want to take the time and effort to strip a body, there are plenty of bare bodies new and used on the bay. All cheaper than Warmoth.

+1 It's as if my wife and I are the greatest modified "Name That Tune" game players of all time when it comes to Dave Matthews songs... I can change the channel in less than 1 second worth of notes... Okay, change that dial (name that tune)! Being from Virginia and going to college during DM's "rise from obscurity" years, I have a lot of friends who love him. Also have lots of friends who hate and rip on him. It's more schtick now than pure hatred for me. I could care less anymore. Just don't make me listen to his songs, please!
