  1. I have said it once and I'll say it again, Steve you are a saint. ~Chris Stokes
  2. I take paypal. Comes with hardshell case
  3. medium neck. not as skinny as my 1980 special. About the same as the 2002 studio I used to own.
  4. I need to sell my mahogany Special ASAP. I paid I believe $450 for it last year with phatcats installed. It now has a set of Shepton PAF replicas installed. The color is double creme bridge and zebra neck. They sound great. The guitar plays great. It does have a crack below the headstock that was there when I bought it. It is stable and I have never noticed any ill affect on the instrument. The repair is smooth and very solid. There is some Hameritis on the edge of the fretboard. I would like to get $400 for the guitar. Pictures here: And like I said before I really need to sell ASAP so please do not ask about trades or whether or not I can hold the guitar or anything like that. I appreciate it. ~Chris Stokes
  5. my 80 isn't that skinny and I love it. ~CS
  6. very cool but what is this:
  7. ok now he says he was just pulling my chain. Says he wants the frets worked up around the 15th fret but all is good. Who knows??????
  8. i had posted the add for the studio on here as well as a few others. So it was a forum sale of of the metro amps forum. The guitar didn't see much action. Hell from '03-'05 I never even took it out of the case. I am lucky the fretboard didn't develop a crack from drying out. To be honest I don't really practice as much as I should and have only been in a gigging band for the last year and a half or so. I really doubt that it even needs a fret dress much less a refret. I know that guitar inside and out and there was no bow in the neck before I shipped. Granted I had it set up high, but still very playable. Just probably not how a "shredder" would like. It intonated spot on even with the action set like I liked it. Hmmmm.....
  9. I sold my studio. Now this guy that I sold it too says it needs a fret job and he doesn't want to pay 200 dollars more for the work. He says the frets are flat. Aren't they supposed to be? I had the action set up high w/ .011's. He says that he has lowered the action to 4/64ths and the thing is buzzing like crazy. What should I tell him. Maybe the truss rod needs adjusting if he went to smaller strings. Now he asks me if I want it back. I can't buy it back. If I didn't need the money for other stuff I wouldn't have sold it. Now what do I do? guys why can't this just be easy???? ~CS
  10. Wow purty!!!!! Can I do this????? If you mind me posting the pic I will edit my post.
  11. Awesome! Thanks one zillion times! I'll just emailed the guy. Let's see if something comes out from this. If you really want it. I would call him. looks like he listed his phone #: " Sam (760)277-5292 "
  12. hell I didn't know. I have bought new guitars and never received any tools. So what do I know I guess. No harm intended. ~CS
  13. I don't get it? What kind of tool did you expect? I have never bought a guitar that came w/ a tool.
  14. 3-4 months HAH I doubt the turn around is that quick on a custom order.
  15. Is this sold? If not are you interested in trades..... ~CS
  16. so what headstock will they do? the pointy one? and you want the regular headstock?
  17. no kits but I just recently finished my 18 watter. Channel 1 sounds great channel 2 has some problems. I am still trouble shooting. The cab won't be ready for a couple of more weeks so I put it in a homemade head box. Next is a DR then maybe a 50 watt bass head. ~CS
  18. Are those really all yours? Dang Ken! ~CS
