O got this today in my email. Very sad news about our favorite guitarmaker. Thank Wall St. and K st. for another harbinger of economic collapse. Can't make it here anymore. Despondent, JB BTM, You are receiving this because you have registered for The Hamer Fan Club Forums and there is some current news you may be interested in. The Hamer brand of guitars will no longer be produced after the current round of custom orders are complete. It's sad news for those of us who love these guitars but you never really know what the future might hold. The words of the immortal Doctor Seuss seem somewhat appropriate. 'Dont cry because its over, Smile because it happened'. It's a spot on sentiment and we can be content playing and owning some of the best electric guitars ever produced. One thing you can be sure of is that the first and best guitar related forum on the planet is not going away!
