  1. The only celeb owned thing I have is a napkin from Frank Zappa's birthday cake at the world premiere of the movie "Baby Snakes." Whoops! I forgot! I also have a gold chain from Billy Sheehan that I stole (kinda) at a show when I was 15. But I'm pretty sure he knew it and didn't care. I'll trade them BOTH for any of your guitars!
  2. I would have emailed the seller but I'm thinking its not even worth it. Maybe one of our other NC members will get some info. If legit, my guess would be a trans-blue Mirage. Aah, sorry! I thought you were the seller!
  3. I got a smoking deal on a Taylor 815-CE in Tobacco burst about a month back. 2002 model, MINT except just a bit of fret wear under the B string. The kid who had it needed money to move and said he was always afraid he would damage it so he rarely played it. Picked it up for $1200. Used 400 series usually go for more than that! The sound of this box is absolutely superb. Very loud too, with its Medium strings. I have a Rainsong AND a Composite Acoustics. They are wonderful guitars. The Rainsong needed a good setup but the CA was absolutely perfect right out of the box. Very beautiful guitars with great necks. And goodbye to my winter humidity problems! These things stay in tune like you can't believe through all kinds of weather changes. I laugh at most people who say "my guitar never goes out of tune." They usually have tin ears and don't have enough sense to use a quartz tuner. I check with a tuner every time I play and I only have to tweak 1 or 2 strings once a week - no exaggeration.
  4. Yeah, I can't believe you got it for that either. I took my eye off it! Glad to see it went to one of you guys, though!
  5. Actually, my 14 year old has taught me that the correct term for this is "screamo", and that about says it. I've taken her to a few shows and always have mixed feelings. For one thing, most of these bands have amazing drummers. These guys can pound forever. Most bands would kill for someone like these guys. And occasionally you will find some damn good axe players too. But the vocals just wear you out. I've come to understand it, though. It is just a part of being young and rowdy. They can't drink any more (for the most part), so they blow off steam this way. SO.... here I am, driving her home from one of these shows, kidding her about the vocals and telling her it won't last.... BUT ... on the radio is "Won't Get Fooled Again." And as Roger Daltry screams "Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" at the end over Pete's windmill chords, she just kinda looks at me and says "Yeah, right." Hope I die before I get old....
