  1. IMHO, if you want something Boogie to run a multi-effects device into, the Boogie Subway Blues cannot be beat, except maybe by the Satellite series. It is a similar rig to the 22 in that it is low power (2xel84), lightweight, and still capable of being obnoxiously loud. It loves pedals and gizmos, and is about the same price or less than a 22 or 22+. The reverb is fantastic and the tone controls really make a big difference when you move them. I have a Subway Blues and a MKIIC+. The Subway gets used more often as it is a far more manageable beast. Sometimes, the IIC+ frightens me a bit! If you are not going to use the gain channel, why bother getting an amp that has one? Just sayin' CJ
  2. Well used '91 in Salmon Blush (it's orange now it seems). The binding is shrinking causing it to pull away in spots and there are fine finish cracks all over. I like a stadium logo. Too bad the 'Burstbuckers sound a bit poopy. Hangin' with a couple homies: CJ
  3. That's what I like to hear, thanks a lot for your help as well in the "deal" process. Glad it arrived safely - now go forth and rock with your new shred machine! I'm waiting patiently on mine. CJ
  4. Jeff Beck and his stunt double; CJ
  5. Matchless Lightning FTW! Do it. CJ
  6. Actually, that'd be ZZZZZZebra! Zulu was random black geometric shapes over a color base. Crap. Well, then I'm totally put off of it and fold my arms in disgust. ZZZZZebra, it is then! Thanks. Now, how are those pickups gonna sound and how much for a Kahler refit(ducks)? CJ
  7. Nope, that's been gone for a little while, now. And why hasn't anyone bought this Diablo yet? -Austin Cool. Yeah, it has been like, almost 40 minutes already. Tough economy, so I've heard. Help me turn the Diablo into this: ZZZZZZULU! CJ
  8. Thanks! Hey Austin, still got a piezo Strat bridge laying around? CJ
  9. Relive the golden days of Hamer collecting by buying this splendid 1992 USA Hamer Diablo for 350 bucks American. This is a stripped-down rock machine featuring a pair of 'buckers on a 3-way, and a Floyd Rose trem jobbie. It has 3 dings; 2 to the body and one on the reverse headstock, otherwise it is super clean. The color is great as is the wood. A really nicely built guitar with a perfectly sized neck - do not dismiss this as strictly a shredder! This guitar is 100% functional but would need a new trem baseplate to be 100% adjustable. The "B" saddle stop screw hole in front of the one it is currently in is stripped, but it is intonated with "10's" jumped back a hole. The "D" saddle stopscrew stripped and was swapped for a big 'ol brass number that has held it perfectly as long as I have owned it. It all works great, but there is some history of ham-fistedness leading to destruction that a buyer needs to be aware of. No case. The stock Duncans could be untaped and tapped with a pull-pot, but I never did. It plays great and is very resonant. I hate Floyds, and the switch is in a bad place for me. $350 plus actual shipping and payment must be a postal money order because Paypal can kiss my grits and burn in hell. More pics here. http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f203/lorwinerz/Diablo/ Refs available. Carfish7 is my Ebay handle as well, and I have done several deals here on the board. "Coop" Diablo, Loudred, and Exploud sticker easily removed, but why would you? I'm moving this to get something vintage, so help a G.A.S.S. ing brother out. I'm 99.7% sure Silentman once owned this, and maybe more of you. Lets keep it in the family at a time-honored price, and help me save a vintage one from the Evil Empire. Thanks, guys. CJ 612-703-3990
  10. Ooh! and a silver case with a nifty metal badge to boot. The engraving work is very cool. Anyone got a close-up of the silver purfling? I was shocked and amazed (and ultimately, annoyed) at how bright my "regular" 25th was and moved it further down the HFC stream. A tad neck-heavy as well, so the pearly plastic buttons are probably a functional modification as well and a blingification. Nice guitars. CJ
