My first attempt at computer recording was with Pro Tools and I had issues up the wazoo!!! I tried again when Mackie first introduced Tracktion. I've been with it ever since and yes I'm up to Tracktion 3 and loving it. I've never tried Garage Band or Cubase, but I'll recommend Tracktion anyday of the week! FYI - There is a rumor on the Mackie forums that Mackie is dumping Tracktion and not doing anymore recording software.
