Cali is a better design. The logo hung over the black on all my Chaps & Calis.

I just bought a PRS Stripped 58 (delivered sometime today) otherwise I would seriously consider this guitar.

For the record, I owned a bunch of Hamer Chaparal/Cali/one offs. The best playing and sounding guitar I owned was an 87 Chap standard with a rosewood board and a floyd. I see a great value if you can look past the dated boomerang fretboard...

Sounds like that guitar is meant to stay with you. LOL!!! No kidding? It's a great guitar. I am gonna keep it. It's destiny.

Ebay deal appears to have fallen through...

Ebay was easier. Meeting someone, devoting time and showing the guitar would cost me more than just putting it on ebay. It also made it fair for everyone. I learned a lesson early in business: "It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it." In this case it was $1,174 (less fees). ...and I didn't have to bring a billy club with me like I did the time I bought my Mesa off of Craigslist!!! Meeting of Exit 70 on the L.I.E. isn't my idea of doing good business.

I was tired of lowballers. I thought I could live with anything over a grand. This guy got a great guitar at a fantastic price. I have sold 5 Hamers this year and everyone was a bargain. There is another one very similar to mine that you can get for $1950.

Seriously, thanks for the tips on the international buyers. Looks like I may have a good buyer ready to make a deal. I have one minimal offer, but a few guys waiting for the end make arun. I am feeling pretty good. I bet I get $1300-1400.
