I placed an add last night for my daughters drum kit. Two replies so far, this one seems potentially shady: Hi, I am very interested and will buy at your price. I cant come and see it because my schedule is very tight.Your payment will be mailed out to you as soon as you provide your name,address and phone number.I will pay with check as am on a business trip and will add $30 so you can keep it in my favor.You should get your payment in 3-4 working days. Let me know as soon as you receive it so i can start making arrangements for the pick-up. Thanks Walter I am not sure what the point of this would be if it is a scam other than to get the address of a house that potentially has musical gear in it. ID theft maybe? Any ideas on how to proceed? My first thought is to ask Walter for his phone number so we can talk in person. Any advice is welcome. Thanks, Dave
