Off the market. I've decided to keep it. 2019 RS Guitarworks - Contour Whiteguard Strat Note: I'm going though a senior-life crisis. Getting old, dealing with all that. So, decided to sell off a bunch of my gear and just pare down to my core stuff. So, I will be posting a bunch of stuff here in the next couple of weeks. Tune in. Here's a great one. I am the original owner. Ordered directly from Roy at RS Guitarworks. All original. It’s factory relic’d, but it hasn’t been gigged or played it out, so I didn’t add any additional wear. Excellent condition overall. Kept in my non-smoking home studio. The only thing I’d note is the Kluson low E tuner is a little loose when turning (Very common on Klusons). Still holds tune fine, just wanted full disclosure. It’s super resonant unplugged which is always a great sign. Lightweight at 7lbs, 6oz. Slim C neck carve (1st 8.42, 12th 9.10) with comfy, rolled fingerboard edges. Frets are like new, no fretwear. Exceptionally nice sounding Strat. In fact, Roy at RS quoted in a post on their facebook page when it was finished: “This may be one of the best we have ever done”. Comes with tremolo arm, signed certificate and all the original case candy. ------------------------------------------------- Specs: - ‘Old Friend’ Contour Whiteguard - Factory relic’d - Vintage two-tone sunburst - Lightweight alder body - 7lbs 6oz - One-piece maple neck - 6105 frets - 10” neck radius - Slim C neck carve - Rolled fingerboard edges - Lindy Fralin ‘54’ pickups (6.92 bridge, 5.88 middle, 5.89 neck ohms) - RS Superpot, CTS tone, RS cap, CRL switch, Switchcraft jack - RS Bridge with Highwood saddles - Kluson tuners - Aged nickel hardware - Fresh strings & intonated with Ernie Ball 9-46 - G&G hardshell case
