DarkHammer Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I am going to visit Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland for the first time in July. Are there any interesting Hamer artist owned guitars to see? Quote
kizanski Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Outside of the Cheap Trick exhibit, not really. Quote
DarkHammer Posted June 19, 2024 Author Posted June 19, 2024 That's too bad they have limited Hamers on display, still looking forward to the visit! 1 Quote
kizanski Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 It is well worth the visit. I’ve been there twice and I’d go back again. Quote
Jimbilly Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I went there once about 22 years ago, it was fun, I thought it was worth going to. The only piece I specifically remember seeing was John Taylor's Kubicki Factor bass, probably because I had recently got one (or two...). Quote
BoogieMKIIA Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Just there a few weeks ago, there is a John Lennon Hamer. Only had time to see one floor. The Bon Jovi exhibit is now open, on the 6th floor. Well worth a visit. 3 Quote

Steve Haynie Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Go in with low expectations. Be happy when you see something cool. 2 Quote

BoogieMKIIA Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 The family spent a couple of hours, including a bite to eat and me playing a few tunes with the jam band on the second floor. I felt like I skimmed a lot of the first floor (history of), there is so much to see. Do some online research about what they have on the other floors and set priorities. You could go several times and not take it all in. Quote
Pieman Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 and you can see the new extension under construction for Dolly Parton and Cher stuff Quote
kizanski Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 Thread from my last visit. I didn't take many pix the first time I went. 3 Quote
