Pretty much a badass Sustain Block loaded Hot Rod. This was brought together by fellow HFC member Murkat. Bill Lawrence 500L pickup. Trans Red over a nice veneer. As far as I know body is a Hamer Vector but I am not sure the neck is Hamer but is nicely put together. No serial number. Black back of body and neck. Any photo angle you I would provide.

Comes with a nice Dean case. Only problem with case is it has a painted over band logo.

$1000 plus $150 shipping

The 500L is a stupendous pickup. Sustainblock.  A versatile 1 pickup rocker.

There is a slim strip of the veneer exposed to appear as binding. I will shoot a couple of pics for you if all you asked.

What's the secret of getting a balanced sound out of it?  I have one in an 82 prototype now and it is very shrill on the highs, adjusting height does not seem to affect this at all.  mids and lows sound great.  Hamer pot so probably 460k or so, 500k spec.  L45S is right next to it in the triple ring and sounds amazing, so it is the 500L

If you are asking me cboss my answer would be I run my tone knob about 8 on most every guitar so shrill is not what I have encountered but I have let a couple other people play the guitar and it does have some good highs. No idea what running it like a Prototype would be like.

Agreed. The L500 is typically VERY responsive to the tone and vol knobs…that’s why I called it versatile. BL pickups are hifi and different than most. Don’t be afraid to radically move the amp eq or back off that tone knob to get the sound you are looking for.

here i am. ask away.

Tell us about the neck. Rebuild/replacement? I’m not sure we ever really discussed it. Vector body but do you recall what year it might be? 😎👍🏁

Isn't it a paddle-head vector with the headstock reshaped to a Vee with the crowns added?

It’s an original Baker lp type neck i received from chris m. years ago. mahogany, rosewood, 6150 jescar. long neck tenon preserved, top blocked, leveled, veneer on top. solid.

I think the mahogany Baker neck was from Steve, not me.  I had a few maple/ebony RF Model necks and still have a couple of Indian Rosewood ones kicking around.

One of the RF necks is on this Korina LP body of mine:
