bigolsparky Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I have been lurking here for the last few years as I have not had a Hamer, and really only had eyes for a Duotone but wasn't really looking that hard. This week I decided to pull the trigger on one that was close by. An orangish burst three holer that I had been eyeing for a while. I had one for a while several years ago and thought I would shop for a Crowdster Plus as a replacement but never really found one that I thought was selling at a reasonable price. I've been kicking myself for selling it ever since because the Duotones are not easy to find. I mainly play it through a Helix using both outputs on the guitar simultaneously and love some of the ambient tones I get out of it using swells on the mags. Thanks to some of the old posts I was able to get some direction on setting up the preamp as the one I had previously was set up perfectly. I'm kind of stoked that I am once again Hamered. Now I've got to get out there and start playing again. 17 Quote
