HFC Member Appreciation Thread (w/pics)

In the 2+years since I joined to buy one guitar, I have bought an 82 White Special, 82 Prototype (the beat up one I had refinished to purple), 99(?) Silver Sparkle P90 Vanguard, 93(?) Red P90 Special, 04 Korina Jr, 2000 TV Yellow BCR Jr, 79 Cherry (?) Sunburst. (I'm not including the one I got from SF Guitar Center and immediately returned due to its massive weight.) 

Then I sold all but 3. 

All thanks to you guys. 

I appreciate this supportive and helpful (and entertaining) community at a time when those are increasingly difficult to find, and when things in the real world haven't always gone exactly as hoped or planned. Anyway, I like it when people share their guitars, so here are two. The sunlight does an incredible job of hiding the numerous scratches/blemishes on the first one. ☀️ If I used it in an ad I would probably be accused of false advertising. Second one is pretty accurate though. 

Feel free to reply and share OR RESHARE some of your favorites. Guitars or stories.

Let’s see, I think I started coming around this place around 1997 and yes indeed I have bought a few guitars through these guys and sold a couple or two or three but man don’t you know it’s been a fun ride.  Let’s keep it going right? Those are some great looking beauties you got there. Here’s a pair I obtained from here. 😎👍🏁

I wish I had family shot of all the Hamers I've owned since becoming a member here. Here's a few.

And yeah, this place is both a horrific enabler of GAS and chock full o' some of the best peeps I've ever had (barely) tolerate my unique brand of ass-hattery.

Thanks to nearly 30 years on this board, it's quicker for me to list the production model Hamers I haven't owned than it is to list the ones I have owned.

Guitars, meh ... some of my longest and most dear friendships were initiated via this forum. Forever indebted.
