diablo175 Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Well, it's newly modded. The guitar itself is almost a year old but just re-landed today after refinishing by Brian Bock (and Lee Garver) and the attentive handling by my local repair guru Mike Schramm. This is one of those rare instances where I kept the stock TB-4 (JB) in it. JBs are hit and miss in my experience (it was yanked outta this one's sibling to be replaced by a Gravelin Mongoose Double Slug) but this one has that mojo. 13 Quote
gorch Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Cool as hell! Nice color combination for body and pickguard. Have you thought of yellow knobs? 1 Quote

Expand I'm more of fan of the knurled, domed knobs but I like the idea of some bright yellow knobs on there! Might be worth trying. 2 Quote

velorush Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Back in the '80's my brother-in-law was for a time running the tractor that was all the rage, the Steiger Panther (for its day, an absolute beast of a tractor). At the time I briefly considered refinishing my Charvel in their trademark green (kind of faded in the interweb picture I found). The Ibanez Loch Ness green was/is much better and continues to be a favorite. Both guitars look fantastic! 3 Quote

I think if they gave away awards for owning the most varieties of guitars in different hues of bright green, I'd be a shoe-in! All kidding aside, I've owned bright green guitars from Kramer, Jackson, Charvel, Ibanez, BC Rich, Dean, Hamer, Schecter and HEL. Love me some bright green! 1 Quote
