I really like this song. Peter Gabriel was an early influence with me. I like what Playing For Change is doing getting different cultures around the world to join in if only for a brief moment to cover these songs. The videography is inspiring. The music is inspiring.

Biko!

I was never into him that much because for awhile you couldn't NOT hear his songs everywhere! But recently started listening on some long flights and I now think he's a genius!

I read the background online behind Games Without Frontiers and found it fascinating; using Jeux sans frontieres, a long running Euro TV show,  that I and many others thought was "she's so popular" because of how Kate Bush a British singer sang French words.

I won't go into it here but the rest of the background on the song with the lyrics and all is great as well.

This wasn't exactly meant to be about him. But I got into him for esoteric reasons when I was young. More, grab a play list on YouTube of the Playing For Change videos. Great to see the covers and different cultures. We are all one through music. Doesn't matter if you play a Hamer or a garbage dumped guitar with two strings. Make those two strings ring.

That was cool. I had never heard that before. The cellist and bagpipe player were into it and I like that. Thanks for posting.

That cellist sounded like those crazy instruments The Hu use in Wolf Token to me. Loved it.
