atomicwash Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Updated - Customized Fender Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar. The Jag shows light wear in excellent condition. No issues. There is a small chip in the nut near the low E, it does not affect performance. The guitar weighs 7 lbs 10 oz on my scale. The neck depth is .82” at the 1st fret and .98” at the 12th fret. There is light fret wear on the first few frets. It plays great with the action at the 12th fret measuring 4/64" (strings depressed at the 1st fret). The original bridge has been replaced with a correct Fender 53mm spread bridge. This JM Jag sports a Pure Vintage 65 pickup at the bridge and a Stock Fralin pickup at the neck. Both pickups are covered with matching Fralin parchment covers. Standard 4-position Johnny Marr wiring. The body was stripped of the original white and painted a custom metallic teal color, depending on the light, it’s a deep green or an ocean blue. The ‘closet clean nitro’ finish was completed by Feelgood Guitars (LINK). It’s very striking in person. While the body was being stripped, I had them create a swimming pool space under the pickguard to reduce the weight a bit. When the body was shipped to me, the packing materials off-gassed and lightly reacted with the finish causing some round hazy marks in the finish (maybe it’s part of the closet clean charm). I couldn’t get them to show in a photo, you can only see them by holding the body in the right light; fully disclosed in this description - no surprises. If you want a pristine Jaguar, this is not the one. If you're looking for a closet clean, solid player in excellent condition, this may be the one. This sale includes the original hardshell case in excellent condition, promo documents/manual, strap, bridge cover, case keys, and a white JM pickguard. I have lots of photos. Contact me via email (atomicwash AT yah** d*t c*m). $1,950 plus actual shipping via PP FF only. Edited February 21 by atomicwash 6 Quote

cmatthes Posted January 19 Posted January 19 These are hands-down, the best Fender offsets made. I'd be all over this one if it wasn't so close to mine! Somebody should seriously snag this... 4 Quote
Winter Posted January 28 Posted January 28 These are fantastic guitars. I regret selling my white Johnny Marr Jag a few years back... GLWTS! 1 Quote
HSB0531 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Those are such cool guitars and a great alternative to the ubiquitous Telecaster and Strat. Quote
Drew816 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 One of my favorite Fender Colors, I had an early 90's Strat that looked just like this thing and I foolishly sold it... Good luck to the new owner, she's a beaut Clark! 1 Quote
