my kid had a wonderful time, travelling home today. 17 year olds say the darndest things, from a text she sent a day or two ago:

"... and we saw Victor Wooten and Jacob Collier in the morning and it was awsome!!!  ...  and then I went to a songwriting lecture led by Larry Batiste and Jeffrey "Skunk" Baxter, I think one of them was a Doobie Brother and also in a different band I've heard of?? oh yeah he was in Steely Dan too..."
