Kaman Employee Discounts (2005/2006)

My Dad worked for Kaman's Industrial division when they bought the company he worked for. 

It was about 2004-ish when he became a Kaman employee. One of the highlights was access to discounts on the Musical Industry side. Hamer, Tak, Ovation, Genz-Benz, Gretsch Drums (Distributor), Sabian Cymbals (Distributor). They also had a large gear distributor, KMC Music. Discounts on these things weren't as steep.

I was in my mid-20s, saddled with school debt. I couldn't take advantage more than once. Ended up with a Studio Custom in '59 burst, though I ordered Aztec Gold. My order got lost in the shuffle somewhere. The 6-month wait passed, my dad queried the order. It was never placed. They were like...we found this one; it's all we've got, unless you want to wait another 6 months. It was a cancelled dealer order. Sometimes I wish I had ordered a Standard Custom or Newport, but in the end, I likely would've ended up with this same Studio Custom, lol. I didn't want to wait another 6 months. I was playing this shitty Washburn Idol. I wanted a REAL guitar now!!

Anyway...found some old emails of the pricing quotes I sought back then. All discounts are 40% off list (dealer pricing?) and another 25% off that.

These are in Canadian dollars. Average exchange rate of USD to CAD in 2005 - $1.21 (swung from 1.25 to 1.18 through the year).
