I see you've been on here since May '24 so maybe you're not aware but this needs a price listed.

And further clarification- Is this a USA?

Replica?

Which is it? Nitro or Poly finish?

What is the DOM?

Does it include a case?

A pic of the head stock would also be helpful to someone interested.

Sorry, yes, you are right.

Hardcase included. I'm an italian luthier, I do all by hand so any kind of customization (or other models) are possible.

Price is 3800 EU (Honduras mahogany and Brazilian rosewood version).

Beautiful work! I don’t see any strap buttons, I suppose that’s up to the owner’s preference? I’m not an aficionado of Explorers but always thought the body shoulder by the neck heel made more sense than the back of the heel.

Paolo is a great guy and a fantastic luthier.  Two of my three guitars were finished sooner than he quoted me.  All three are excellent.

Remember, he may just be posting a pic of a completed guitar, so that exact one may not be for sale.  I've had Paolo send me pics of the work just a few days after I paid the deposit.  TGP faithful scoffed at his eight week promise to build my Flying V during COVID.  It came to my door with days to spare.  It's my favorite Flying V ever.

Is it possible to buy Hamer Standard for around $4K? Just wondering.

I did. Granted, that was 2 or 3 years ago.

1974 replica implies a early style 4 digit guitar (to me anyhow) and it is pretty much impossible to find one of those for $4K nowadays. 90's and 00's Standard Customs were selling for $4K a year or two back but i don't think prices on the recent ones are dropping much at all.

I haven't has the opportunity to check out a Sonic in person, but all the reviews I've seen so far are very positive.  I think the prices are pretty reasonable for a custom-built 4-digit style Standard. YMMV...

I think zorrow ordered two recent builds from Paolo. I’d get one of those in a heartbeat. I’d have to specify Gibson body thickness, though.

Paolo will do whatever you want.  He won't, however, include logos that infringe.  I'm considering one of his FRFR powered speakers with a tube pre-amp for my Kemper.  But I'm going to need a 12" speaker.  I know he'll oblige.

This one was selling for $4.5K back in October 2024:

It seems that the STD is one of the most popular.
Are there other models besides the STD that are so sought after?
The STD is the only one that some customers have asked me to replicate

Yes, that's easily the most sought-after Hamer model.
Specials and Sunbursts are a distant second, but they are still available at somewhat reasonable prices vs. the original Standards.

I'd personally love to see a Korina KK Vector replica but instead of the Kahler tremolo, a TOM or Sustain block bridge...
