Steve Haynie Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Last night there was a show with four bands in Johnson City, Tennessee: Warrant, Winger, Lita Ford (with Dee Snider), and Molly Hatchet. Warrant is the only band that I am not sure of ever having a Hamer connection, but the other three certainly have been known for having Hamer guitars and basses. Lita only played B.C. Rich guitars last night, but her guitar player was Gary Hoey. He played one guitar all night, and it was a Hamer. 14 Quote
scottcald Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Nice! Seems like a cool show. Any of the original guys in Molly Hatchet anymore? Quote

Steve Haynie Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 The original members of Molly Hatchet have all died. John Galvin and Bobby Ingram were in the last iteration of Molly Hatchet before the break up. Ingram was able to get the rights to the band name and got things going again in the 1990's. 1 Quote
scottcald Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I knew a lot of them had gone, didn't realize all of them had. Too bad. I know Brown died in his early 50s. Did anyone make it to 70? Quote

Not that there's anything wrong with it, but the lads in Warrant seemed to gravitate toward whichever brand would supply them with custom instruments gratis (or almost gratis): BC Rich, then Carvin, then Ibanez....and much later, G&L.
