SOLD!

’01 Heritage H150CM

Note: I'm going though a senior-life crisis. Getting old, dealing with all that. So, decided to sell off a bunch of my gear and just pare down to my core stuff. So, I will be posting a bunch of stuff here in the next couple of weeks. Tune in.

This one is special and I don’t say that lightly. I said I would never sell this guitar as it’s already beat out 4 Gibson Custom shop Les Paul’s I’ve owned and sold. This one has stayed. It's a player with honest playwear. No breaks or repairs, just normal marks from real use. This guitar has been to every gig I’ve played. It’s magic (OK, no more blabbering on)

Here's the details… ’01 Heritage H-150CM. Hand-built in Kalamazoo MI at the old Gibson factory. If you don’t know the Heritage Guitars story, these peeps bought the old Gibson factory and tooling when Gibson moved to Nashville. Google it, it’s a great story. Standard Les Paul build. Mahogany body/neck, Rosewood board, Maple top with real nitro lacquer finish. Just about everything on it has been replaced with better parts.

It's got a slimmer neck carve, the neck specs are .810 at 1st, .915 at 12th fret. Rosewood board. I had the guitar PLEK’d about a year and a half ago. Now, shows a tiny bit of playwear, but nothing really. Still plays beautifully with low action, straight neck. Loaded with OX4 PAF pickups with aged nickel covers. They are some of the best pickups I’ve found, and I’ve spent a LOT of money on expensive boutique pickups. These are great. Push-pull on 1 tone control for neck split.

TonePros locking bridge. Lightweight tailpiece. German Schaller top-locking tuners (You can’t get these tuners in the USA, I ordered them from Thomann). They are like the PRS kind that tighten at the top, not the back, love ‘em. Newer pickup rings, pickguard and ‘moan/scream’ poker chip, Amber top-hat bell knobs and Schaller strap lock buttons. I have the original pickguard and plastic jack plate in the case, but that’s all of the original parts I still have. I also have my original heritage case candy info.  9lbs, 4oz and very resonant unplugged, which is always a great sign.

Cosmetically, there is a honest wear from playing on front, top and back. See pics. There is a decent spot under the pickguard as I always played it without the pickguard. There’s some finish marks on the tail from a Vibramate Bigsby mount (FYI, those Vibramates are NOT damage free!) Small dings and scratches here and there, nothing too bad. Some worming/belt buckle wear on the back too, not through to the wood. The back of the neck is clean, no dings.

I used this guitar extensively on my last blues album – The Whole Shabang. It’s records great.

Comes with an non-original, but really nice hardshell case. If you want more info or pics, just message me, I’m happy to provide anything you want.
$1,400 Shipped/PP F&F.
Not interested in any trades - thx

The frets look good in the pics. Have you had then worked on. I was assuming more wear from a heavily-played guitar. That thing looks really nice, Ernie.

I had it plek'd and they were cleaned-up about a year and half ago. I haven't played out in last year as my wife as we moved and no band.
