It would be more desirable without the autograph.  Is Joe Bonamassa known for playing a Hamer Special?  No.

It was probably their attempt at what they thought was the only way to make a generic Hamer Special appear valuable.
Obviously, we Hamer fans see it differently.

My stance on signatures on guitars - anyone’s signature - is well documented.

Maybe if they inlaid Joe's name on the fingerboard that Special might rise to Epiphone pricing levels...

Or if they had spelled "Hamer" correctly.

"Bonamassa" they spelled right, though.

It's a good thing the brand name isn't in huge letters on the headstock or anything...

In the video it is obvious that Joe Bonamassa was only acquainted with that guitar long enough for it to come out of the case and get signed.  What was that?  A minute?  Why bother?  Someone has bid $1400 already.

Probably about what it is worth on current market. IF you could clean it up without ruining the finish.

And this is why

Daves.jpg

will always be better than AbbyNorman's Rare Guitars.

Plus it's in the coolest state ever.

No, really. It gets f***ing cold here.

Yes, like a video of said famous person signing the guitar and presenting it to someone.  But sharpie sig's wear and fade in normal playing, and if you decide to spray clear over it to preserve it, make sure the clear doesn't react to the sharpie ink ( I have a story behind that one ).  Me personally, I don't like autographed guitars which goes against my liking of autographed sun visors 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I was in Madison once.  I liked the people and the place.  But didn't you mean AbbyNormal Rare Guitars?
