The hideous red/gold/ugly-tailpiece monstrosity was almost a separate model (Pro Custom). Two bursts in AZ, mine without the fretboard tiaras. Edited March 23 by VincentYGB info 4 Quote
Feynman Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 ^ Lovely. What are those pickups? --- I feel like this might have turned into a 'Let's make Feynman regret all of the Hamers he sold by showing ours, while offering him NOTHING." Have I offended the gods? Does no one have a cool spare Newport or Monaco (not Elite - rock smashing, etc) anymore? It's fine though if so. I like Gretsch too. I don't need you. 5 Quote

It is in prestine condition still. The ebony tuner buttons had to go. They are now on my acoustic guitar. And original Schaller buttons are back on the MIII. That Callaham bridge that was on it had to go as well. It was really bright and did not do the guitar justice, not working well with the P90's and the long scale of the MIII. An original Schaller bridge is back in place. It really gave the guitar more balls, oomph and bottom. Now it rocks! And I also mag swapped the bridge Lollar P90. I replaced the original A5 mags with A2's, to make it growl like a mean son of a bitch. I used it in a video from our first album. Quote 5 1 Quote
Feynman Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 (edited) That’s excellent. You deserve it. It’s much happier with you than me. The ebony board ties the room together. Inspiring video too - thanks for sharing it. The whole band sounds great. Hamer sure made some amazing instruments. Edited March 23 by Feynman 1 1 Quote

Tortious Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Would be extremely cautious with this seller should you pursue this one. Have had a very bad experience with them. According to yelp, it wasn't just me. https://www.adkguitar.com/collections/guitars/products/used-hamer-newport $2300 "Up for sale is a gently used Hamer Newport Pro made in the USA. This great guitar has been thoroughly inspected and found to be in perfect working order. The guitar will include the original Hamer hard shell case. Approximate weight - 7.34lbs" 2 Quote
