Hi all - first time post-er, longer time follower

Question for the experts - is there any sanctioned source of branded merchandise for Hamer?  (ex: t-shirts, straps, jackets, anything) I know Fender owns the brand, but nothing I can find in terms of official merchandise.

I think that leaves us with:  Real vintage stuff (Reverb, Ebay for official of past), and then Pinterest, and Amazon (obviously unlicensed stuff)

So, my real question is..

What is the best, most true to brand, most "that looks exactly vintage" sources out there.

I'm positive I'm not the first person to ask this, and I apologize for not reading (I don't know how many years) of threads, but I really would love to see this as something that is a top-level menu item thing (folks wearing Hamer apparel or Fan Club apparel is good for everyone here)

I'm happy to help/do what I can here, by my starting point is getting a cool Hamer t-shirt to flaunt for summer.

/TJ

Hi TJ,

Fender used to, a long time ago. They sold it off with part of KMC to Jam Industries (they were the ones behind the aborted 2017 attempt to resurrect the brand with Indonesian made, Hamer-branded guitars). Jam Industries itself was acquired by Irish conglomerate DCC.

Neither Jam https://jamindustries.com/    nor DCC  https://www.dcc.ie/    web sites make any mention of the brand that i have seen in a long time, but last I knew, Jam/DCC was still the effective owner of it.

As far as I know, there is no 'official' merchandise being manufactured.

there are bunch of Hamer branded t-shirts on eBay, they are unofficial, likely made by various small sellers, these days you can make shirts with any logo/theme.

We just can't sell anything (ANYTHING) with the regular Hamer logo on this site.

Why is that, Chris? (I honestly don't know how it all works, with trademarks and shit).

Not sanctioned but I have bought a few tshirts from Redbubble (www.redbubble.com). These are independent artists. Just search "Hamer" and you'll see a few designs. I also got a checkerboard phone case. 😀

If anyone wants to buy all the equipment necessary to print T-shirts I am willing to accept trades.  You could print all the Hamer shirts you want to wear for yourself, but ye shall dare not sell a shirt to any man or woman!

We've had dialogue with KAMAN Legal over the years about what we can and can't do here.  You're free to do whatever you want, we just can't advertise, post nor sell it on this site.

Does this even apply anymore?  Who owns the logo/name now?

I know I'm in the minority, but I haHAted that movie.

I'm a big Mel Brooks fan, but the movies he made in that time period; History of the World, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Spaceballs, etc were just lazy comedy, in my opinion.
They don't stack up to masterpieces like Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety, Blazing Saddles....even Silent Movie.
