Pieman Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Wanna try out an affordable offset? I just posted this on Craigslist. It seems easier for me to provide you photos that way. Please jump om this before some CL knucklehead comes my way. Never having had a Fender offset, I opted for this. The Puisheen guy below is all to blame. The Jazzmaster guy. He even has a promo at the Fender / Squier website. After purchase, I had my local guy set this up, check out the whammy, -11s, polish frets etc. Bought a new Gator Jazzmaster case. This is as Like New as they come. I'm following the one -in/ one out rule. I just bought a Gibson SG Classic. $500 via Paypal Family and Friends to HFCers with free shipping to lower 48. I pack well and ship pronto. No trades. Price is HFC friendly. No trades. Thanks for looking. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/msg/d/cleveland-squier-40th-anniversary/7838663272.html 2 Quote
stonge Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I have a similar 40th Squier Anniversary Jazzmaster in blue; it's really surprising how good these guitars are. Mine just makes me want to sit around and butcher surf tunes all day .Really twangy and very diff from a strat or a tele. I have an upgrade set of pickups in a box, but these really don't need upgrading as the stock pickups work really well. and I blame Puisheen as well. One of these days I'll tweak the whammy bar enough to stop it from falling out at the merest glance lol, but it's a fun left turn from the usual routine. Mucho fun. 1 Quote
BruceM Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) I was all set to buy until I realized it was a linted edition. I've already got too many of those. All kidding aside, it's a beautiful guitar. GLWTS. Edited to add: Forever after, I'm going to think you look like that guy in the video. Not that that's a bad thing...all kidding aside was a lie. Edited March 31 by BruceM 1 Quote
