diablo175 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Hard pass. EMGs and a Kahler? Might as well let the cat use the guitar case as a litter box. There's only shit coming out of it anyway. 5 Quote
Steve Haynie Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Glenn Tipton liked Kahler trems. He sold a lot of albums. People paid to see him in concert. Maybe he was right and everyone else is... not as right. 2 2 Quote
diablo175 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) You really wanna go down that road? Should we compare those who have or are playing Floyds vs those who play Kahlers and talk about album sales? Look, I get it; preferences re: trem systems, like most anything, are highly subjective. If it works for ya, good on ya. It was right for Tipton. Doesn't mean it's right for everyone else. I just think it's stupid putting a Kahler "non fulcrum" cam type trem into a fulcrum routed guitar... I wouldn't have mind had they installed a Kahler 2500 Traditional, 2710 Killer, 2720 Spyder and 2760 Steeler in its place without butchering the guitar up 1 Quote

bkrownd Posted Monday at 10:33 PM Posted Monday at 10:33 PM Mmmmm, a black and red scepter has always been on my bucket list and suddenly a couple pop up on the market when I can't do it. 😬 A year ago in better times I could have considered it, but now with all the turmoil it's probably out of reach for a long time. They sent me a offer of $2,900... but honestly that particular Scepter isn't worth $1000 due to the body altering trem mod 1 Quote
