I was mildly intrigued right up to here:

I'm not even sure what that is, but it looks pretty wrong. Decent deal if correctable though

Yeah, I couldn't tell if it is flaking or on top of the finish. But at least with GC you have 45 days to return, no questions asked..

I was looking more at the nut, and the line behind it on the headstock. Maybe it's just the world-renowned advanced photography tricknology GC is famous for, deceiving me into thinking I'm seeing something that isn't there. 🤩

It definitely looks like somebody took a file to the corners of the nut. And that's some of the better photography coming out of a GC. One of the marks on the face of the headstock looks like a ding, but the rest looks like water spots and dust (to me).

WITH the case! That's a pretty decent buy.

Agreed, I think the nut was reshaped. Easy fix though..

That IS a great price. If I didn't already have two studios and too many other guitars...

I'm trying hard not to bite on it. I'm playing the Hamer Studio a lot again b/c, in my humble opinion, they are arguably the best work horse, HH guitar out there. As much as I love Lesters, Studios do it all with less weight and better tuning stability, and so I find it is going to more and more gigs.

Which means I want a back up of course. If I wasn't waiting to see if the LP I just sold makes it in one piece to Michigan and for another one of the two I have up for sale to sell, I probably would do it.
