savethematches Posted September 19, 2006 Author Posted September 19, 2006 Well, I made it through the funeral this morning, but I'm still trying to get used to the idea that he's not going to be around any more. When someone is such an integral part of your life, it's impossible to anticipate or describe just how big of a hole they leave behind. I relied on Dad for so many things, I'm just not sure how I'll adapt, but I know I'll have to.Sincere, heartfelt thanks to each of you for your kindness. This place is much more than just an internet message board, it is like a meeting place for extended family. I'm proud to be a part of this community.
Nuclear Wessel Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I'm sorry for your loss. My sympathies and prayers are with you, Marty.
