Well, there is one bagel shop. Maybe I need to take a drive for lunch... Your fascination with really good New York bagels is one of the things I haven't forgotten about on my one trip to an HFC Open House. I still don't get it with bagels, but then again, rural Louisiana ain't the bagel capital of the world either. Bagels down here are probably about as good as the andouille gumbo in Nepal.

Unfortunately, I've had a splitting headache all day and struggled to make it through dinner out with my wife and son. Not the best of birthdays. Hopefully a good night of sleep will help as I have a gig tomorrow night. Oy....
