mkadowaki Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 some people have been searching for years for one!for sure!
serial Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 There have been more for sale in the past year and a half than there have been in the past ten years, but that's not saying much. On a GOOD year, maybe three or so come up for public sale. Pretty tough to find!
sirDaniel Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Its not that people have been searching for them for years, but they want them to be bargains too. Those $2K 4 digits I passed on years ago now look like bargains.
Kilroy is all about... Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 $4950 shipped... '79 rare-bird, naturalburst, or as Uncle Rick Nielsen describes it as 'blond-burst', Serial #0225 (it's gouged out serial number will be re-stamped..once serial finds the stamps/wood). I'm the third owner. original pick-ups, original hard case, and it plays very well and sound even better. interested then email via this forum or [email protected] Peace B' w/U ALL...kilroy posts...
serial Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 THAT's a rare one. I think that there were four or five in that configuration only, including Rick's (yellow trans/natural with dots and the Nielsen-esque wide spaced octave dots.).
