Lockbody Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Kinda late, but I'm not gonna miss my first Standard Pr0n thread. Tone to the bone
LordOfTheThighs Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Lockbody ... I'm liking those pick-ups. I'd like to get a set with the cream-coil to the inside sometime. What kind are they?Great pics by everybody ... Keep'em coming!
kizanski Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Sorry, those aren't flames. THESE are flames... DAY-yum!
Lockbody Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Pickups are DiMarzios. Breed in the bridge/ Air Classic in the neck. I love the fact that they don't go the same way as almost every zebra set you see.Check the DiMarzio website FAQ. They'll make you a pickup in any color they offer in any combo for no extra charge.
cmatthes Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Serial:Tell me that isn't Roy Buchanan's old Standard!?!Whoah...
serial Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I can't be sure. Sure are some odd coincidences with that guitar and him though...I'd love to know for sure, but that might not be possible to determine.
elduave Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Piling on... Duane's custom order: Store stock custom order, remarkably still for sale: Jaye's unless he traded it for a PRS : From Ebay to me, to DaveL, back to me, now on hold for BTMN's bud in the service:
elduave Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 KILLER! Happy birthday man! I shoulda kept that one...
Vin496 Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Bruce, I am digging that nice clean white(might be silver) standard with the 12th inlay ebony board. Just clean and sweet.
cmatthes Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 The coolest one I've had the pleasure to check out lately. Well, certainly ONE of them!!
Jon_Press Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 WOW!!!! Those are some amazing Standards. I know this is run of the mill (if there is such a thing with a Hamer USA Standard), but here is Laura's. That is if you can add a photo like you could on the old board. If not, here is link to Laura's. The guitar is not here so I can't see the serial number to tell you the year, but I am pretty sure it is late '90's.http://www.hamerfanclub.com/memberpages/la...tandard4web.jpgEdited to add:NEWBIE!?! Yeah, I am a newbie since HFC2 (1998?).
Mike_C Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Damn that looks like the cover of the long lost 80's hamer catalog that never was. VERY VERY COOL SHOT. Very Nice whoever took the photo.
cmatthes Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Thanks, Mike. I was shooting some shop pics for the Rocketeria site. I probably should have removed that hang tag though, but figured that the new owner should have that privilege!
