Steve Haynie Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 The Hamer guitar in the photo appears to be autographed a few times, most likely by some of the visiting entertainers over there in Iraq. You know that guitar is going to be a keeper!

No longer active duty, but blissfully retired from 20 years of flying Navy P-3 Orions. My two younger brothers and my father were Marines, so they've got that going for them. moozak Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 No kudos to patriotism?? After 911 everyone seemed to care. your all Girlie Men! Any active duty out there, but me? i was never in the military... but 2 of my brothers were. both volunteered for TWO tours in vietnam... both have purple hearts and one was shot down twice behind enemy lines in a huey (he flew MedEvac) and has a distinguished flying cross... and both spent over 20 years in the service and are now retired. my uncle (long gone now) was a survivor of the bataan death march... and i also have several uncles who were in the korean conflict. so... even though i was never in the military... i am a patriot!
