cornjulio Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 Here are 3 of them I have one gray one that I need to take a pick of. I think I saw one of these on ebay about a year ago. They seem rare but I think matching headstocks are stunning!!!
serial Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 You know this one-it was the best Special I've ever owned-probably one of the best I've ever played.
JohnnyThunders Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 --> QUOTE(David B @ Jul 31 2008, 06:55 PM) ← Wow, did you do this? Nope the great folks at R&S Guitarworks took a stripped beat special body I got off ebay, refretted and then re-topped it into my dream guitar, a single-hum special and then reliced it to look like ,my other beat up specials. I love them beat.

My First Hamer: 1981 My first FM: 2003 My first Junior (pic by BCRGreg): 2005 My next project: 1981 Gone but not forgotten: (The gray and the blue are still here. The Kahlered one I should have kept. MTM105 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 this thread is obsene. should be condemened by the board of health. what is up with the different colored pickups, anyway?? Is that for a Gary Moore out of phase Greenie guitar? (which he must have gone broke because he sold it) He never looked happier sporting a Hamer. I saw him 87 and his whole band was playing them. Then, I guess, he got bitter because he didn't have a model produced after him (?).

custom53 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 My first Hamer - a Ferrari Red '83 that I bought at Sam Moss' emporium in Winston-Salem. I traded it away towards a custom-order Standard in '90. It ended up somewhere in the Midwest, where this picture was apparently taken: That picture was taken in my backyard in Columbus, Ohio. I sold it to another member of the Hamer board. (Paster ____?)
