RoyB Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Well one of our new guitars that will be close to a Tele, but set neck will be using a bridge made right here in Winchester KY, and since it's based on the Hamer bridge I thought I'd show off the prototype here. So what do ya think??
RoyB Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 I like it. Compensated saddles I assume?Yep plus we can dial in the guitar using brass, steel or aluminum versions.
RoyB Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 Me likey. Is it chambered? Chambered?? You mean the bottom? If so nope it's solid billet aluminum.
murkat Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 that is badass! it isn't,.... but it is at that! very nice rob!
veatch Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Me likey. Is it chambered? Chambered?? You mean the bottom? If so nope it's solid billet aluminum. Sorry - i was kidding. I do like the concept for the bridge.

GaryT Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Brass. Steel and Aluminum too....Cool.Thats has to work good. I like the individual channels for the saddle adjustment screws and its thickness.
unfun75 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Its like a Sustain Block, Gotoh 201 bass bridge, and a Wilky tele bridge rolled into one. Looks cool and functional.
RoyB Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 Thanks guys we are very happy with it and can't wait to try it on a guitar.
Punkavenger Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Will you be selling them individually? I have a tele body blank ... (looks great !!! btw)
RoyB Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 Will you be selling them individually? I have a tele body blank ... (looks great !!! btw)It would not fit any stock body and would require the neck to be pitched by 3 degrees like a Hamer/Gibson to work right (unless it's sunk in the body).
Sam Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 So what do ya think?? I think it would look great on a Talladega. Have you thought about sending one to Hamer?
RoyB Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 So what do ya think?? I think it would look great on a Talladega. Have you thought about sending one to Hamer? Until we really test it I don't know what all we will do with it.
RoyB Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Well the other new bridge and string block are now done and so it the refined version of the first bridge, so here are the photos. The string block is solid aluminum and is a direct fit for a G&L and is a amazing upgrade from the stock plastic version, so it will be for sale loose as well.
Disturber Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 It would be cool with a tele block with that extra metalplate for the bridgepup - so it would be a drop in replacement for the Wilkinson on a T-51. Not that I don't like the Wilkinson bridge, I am just saying - it would be cool...
