lesterpaul Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 an amp/cooler.....you know, a cooler on the back side with neon lights...holds 12 brews....the refrigeration keeps the tubes cooled off/no need for a fan...and 2 chicks to keep the cooler well stocked,of course...ok,back to reality..how about a fulltone deja vibe?..and a Leslie cab..and a lefty Firebird(methinks there is no such animal)??
eightyfour Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 ...this. Umm, wasn't expecting "someday" to come in a matter of hours. Tone report and pix to come in a week or so.
Bennyboy-UK Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 ...Pre 1964 Gibson LP/SG Junior... ideally a '61 or '62.Perhaps one day...Benner
Don Brown Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 motorcycle (I think I'd like a Buell)Guitar wise:I'd love to try a Parker, though don't think I need one...A big ole hollow body without a bigsby ... an SG with the EC paintjob ...hmmm... but all of these exclude what I really want, a comfortable retirement and a happy wife
Hackubus Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I'd get some recording stuff. Like: 1176 compressorLA-2A compressorPultec EQP1A Program EqualizerMarshall Jubilee head & cab. Firebird I in a bitchin' metal flake paint job. Hamer 12 or 8 string bassGretsch White FalconA roadie. A groupie.A roadie/groupie would be bit of a stretch but since I'm just dreamin' here anyway.....
gorch Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 One day, I will make it playing in a band myself. But as far as I can oversee it, I will remain the roadie of our children. At least until they are 18. That's still a lot of years to pass, though.
madhatter Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I want a Gibson Gordie Johnson SG but I'll probably never find one.
cmatthes Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I'd welcome a Rick 4003;Hamer Monaco Bass;Hamer Electraglide;Rick 330 for a project
blackfbiv Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Hamer 12'er... maybe a custom order... since we're dreaming... make it an FBXII with my name on the headstock..Pedulla Pentabuzz bass... Bicentennial T-bird...
HamerHokie Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Marshall 100-watt Plexi stack.I had a piece of it, sort of, a few years back when I had a 30th Anniversary head.
Brooks Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 A 3-hole, spruce-topped DuoTone for $350!i had one w/ a headstock repair for $450 once. One Of These Days I'll Get a......nother tube amp. prolly when i sell my other bike. i do like the looks of the marshall class5.overall, i'm just not excited by gear much anymore.my harley is exciting, tho
velorush Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Simple (or so it would seem): somebody to play music with.* a bass (yes, I'm back on this again and still trying to figure out which one)* a Hamer with a neck I like* a Telecaster or a better copy* a good Les Paul or good copy * some sort of recording interface (as a quasi-substitute for the first item)* an amp that sounds like my Fender but weighs as little as my Mesa (Subway Blues)Not necessarily to own, but I'd like to try a Fender Custom Shop Strat and A/B it with my Strat to see if there is really a difference.
mathman Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Well, after looking at this thread I have another dream. I don't know Peter/HamStd and he doesn't know me, but it would be like a day at Disney to spend some time looking at his collection.
