Guitars sound great! The Jaguar and your fingerpicking style is a perfect match. You have an exquisite touch, it's really quite beautiful. The vocals are bone dry and vulnerable as shit... the content is even more vulnerable. I winced a few times from just how uncomfortable the lyrical content made me feel. All in all, a very cathartic effort at exorcising your inner feelings. I would have much rather heard ambiguous lyrics that hinted at what you wanted to express without sounding so vulnerable and direct, but that's just my personal opinion. The guitar tones and playing are top notch... I really liked Blender, New Years and Electric Skin the most (I listened to them all).

Nice.

Thanks Dude. Next couple of lyrics I'll be working on will throughout springtime ;-). That should sort out the melancholy. Your comment is much appreciated...

Nothing wrong with melancholy CJ, I was just talking about using a bit more allegory. I was quite impressed, good stuff and great hands man.

I really like your guitar work. 1 or 2 overbends maybe, but fantastic chords and textures. The deadpan humor in the lyrics creates a bit of cognitive dissonance given the melancholy of the guitar parts. I feel like the lyrics should be more dreamlike to match the music.

What was your recording process and rig?

Thanks. Damn the bendings ;-). It's all recorded with a 1965 jaguar, an orange tiny terror with an older marshall 4x12, a digitech delay at a friends studio. There's some minor editing to the tracks but I was trying hard to play straight through every song. Also played a 1968 jazzmaster on a couple of songs. So It's all fender this time which is a new experience for me (big Les Paul and Hamer fan).
