atquinn Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Supremely silly. Not necessarily in a bad way though.-Austin
Ting Ho Dung Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I have his head I just wish I had his body. Wait, did I just say that?
earachemyeye Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 You can't kill the metal...the metal will live on. When did BCR Greg start playing drums?
shredmeister Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Joe what the hell you doing on the computer this time of day ? That guy has a great voice for metal. Sounds like somthing out of the 80's.
diablo175 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 He sounds alot like Rob Halford. I like it.+1Rhythm guitars are nice and chunky, too. Sweet leads, nice harmonizing. Goddam, I love a good metal tune!
Jack C Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Pretty good right up until the chorus. That killed it for me.
sledhead44 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I dig it. Going to check out their other stuff.Checked out Metal Nation, Now or Never, and a few other songs. Great riffing. I guess I am a new fan and that is very hard for me to like a song the fist time I hear it.Wow, 9 Albums...what do you suggest to buy savethematches?
DaveH Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 The bass player is Matt Sinner (SINNER), they are worth checking out as well:
zorrow Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Isn't that singer Ralph Scheepers, the guy who used to sing for Gamma Ray? I remember back then (fuck, I'm getting old!) he auditioned for Judas Priest when Halford left, but they ended getting Tim "The Reaper" Owens.

That particular phase of JP's history was fodder for a lame movie with Mark Wahlberg & Jennifer Aniston called Rock Star. Pee-U!

Travis Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Loves me some Primal Fear. Angels and Demons & Devils Ground were the 2nd and 3rd albums I ever bought on iTunes (about 2 months ago, yeah I know I'm behind in the times...)
Crimsontider Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Primal FearThe Les Paul has the Zac Wild sound for the rhythm and leads have a European w/neo classical light sound(I like). I am assuming the drums are live but you cannot be certain, they lack dynamics on any fills which gives it a machine like sound. Overall, a little too polished, predictable and safe for my taste. I like a certain amount of rawness with less tamed guitars. A song posted below this one a little better.
