elduave Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 The sun hasn't been out so just a crappy indoor pic for now. This one comes to the Rock with Frank Ciavaro's help, and anyone else named Frank. Monaco III, Cadillac Green, Gold hardware, fancy pants** binding, ebony board, bound fancy holes... The factory nailed it. Kudos to the spray-meister. 'Tis spoken for. *Copyright Alpep and with due respect to MikeC **Copyright Kilroy
Jeff R Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Now THAT'S a color that looks badass with gold hardware.Sweet package. Very sweet.
Disturber Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Schweeet! I reckon you'll play Elton John songs on it? (your avatar). I won't one like that
Steve Haynie Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I never would have thought about Cadillac Green on a Monaco. That is a perfect looking guitar!
lonote049 Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Good Lord, that's elegant! Somebody'll be grinning from ear to ear.
Guest pirateflynn Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 The factory nailed it........ .........and rocketeria nailed it, too. One great custom order after another elduave. Excellent!
serial Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Funny, but I feel like I'VE been grinning all day long! THAT is perhaps the baddest-assed new custom Hamer I've seen.Dayum. I'm smitten.
belgian Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 damn, that looks good.........I would change the chickenhead to cream too.
cmatthes Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Actually, I coined the term "The Ultimate Gretsch" when we started talking about the initial specs early in the year I've always loved the way Gretsches looked, but only owned one that played worth a damn! After this one was already in the works, Jol showed up at NAMM with that 'Tron-equipped Newport masterpiece, so I guess P-90s are the next best thing, eh? This thing is un-freakin-believable in person. Almost impossible to get a good idea from the pictures - REALLY. It took a couple of tries to get it right, but that finish is amazing. Anniversary binding (multi-ply) all around...I hope to air it out a bit tonight. Everybody involved smacked it out of the park on this guitar!!
cmatthes Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 You said arrivals?... any more? Ya know, it's never enough for you, is it Lou?!?!
KeyOfZ Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Nice one Elduave! That thing looks very sweet.......that finish is also very unique. Congrats to the new and proud owner.
elduave Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 Schweeet! I reckon you'll play Elton John songs on it? (your avatar).I won't one like that I won't, but the end user will...
elduave Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 cool. You said arrivals?... any more? Bad use of plural. That's it for now but there's more in the works...
mc2 Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Killer!! The gold N green look great together! Congrats.
tafkathundernotes Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I think it would look good in Seafoam too. (With chome hardware, of course) Yes, I'm serious..........Stop laughing, dammit!
cmatthes Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Jon: Do I hear "matching Monaco Bass"? I've got a dealer who can hook you up... I think it would look good in Seafoam too. (With chome hardware, of course) Brian - Wrong Twin! Actually, I think Serial would dig that a lot!
